Friday Flash Week 5 - 1st of November, 2024
From the Principal
Dear Parents and Caregivers,
As we move into the final weeks of the school year, our students are deeply engaged in their learning and preparing for upcoming assessments. With the busy weeks ahead, we encourage you to ensure your child is getting plenty of rest each night so they can approach each new day with energy and enthusiasm.
We’re delighted to share some wonderful news—our resident Plovers have welcomed new chicks this week! The excitement of seeing these adorable additions has brought a lot of joy to our students, and they are now enjoying full access to the oval for play once again.
Today, we celebrated Tuckshop Day, and we’d like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Emma, Bobbi, and their dedicated team of volunteers. Their tireless efforts and delicious, freshly prepared food truly make our tuckshop an essential part of our school community, adding something special to our students’ experience each day.
Lastly, a reminder that our next Parent Representative Group meeting will be held at 2 pm on Thursday in the Library. We’ll be discussing the updated Student Code of Conduct in preparation for its implementation in 2025, and we warmly invite you to join us and contribute your insights.
Have a great week!
Kelli Harvey
Principal
