Friday Flash Week 9 - 20th June, 2025
From the Principal
Dear Parents and Caregivers,
This week, construction has begun on our new playground around the oval. It’s always exciting for our students to see big machinery in action!
Please note that the back gate will remain locked for the rest of the term. To help with the afternoon pick-up, we will be opening the oval gate. If you’ve parked in the back car park, we kindly ask that you exit via the oval gate. Thank you for your understanding and support.
Make sure to check the calendar below for details about next week’s Sports Days and NAIDOC celebrations.
Congratulations to Phantom House, this term’s Ace Ticket winners! To celebrate, students in Phantom House are invited to wear red free dress on Friday 27 June.
A friendly reminder to check your QParents account to ensure your contact details are up to date. Report cards will be distributed next week via QParents. It’s also a great platform for lodging student absences to avoid unexplained absences.
Cleaner’s Day may have been Monday, but our appreciation lasts all week! Thank you to our amazing cleaning team — we all appreciate everything you do to keep our school looking its best. 💚🧼🧹
Finally, we look forward to welcoming you to our Celebration of Learning on the last Friday of term. Classrooms will be open from 12:00–1:00pm for families to come and see the amazing work students have completed this term. We warmly invite you to join us!
Warm regards,
Kelli Harvey
Principal

EcoMarines Board Game Donations
"Do you have any spare board games?
EcoMarines are looking for donations to start a board games and card game rental system in the school. The goal is to reduce energy usage in our homes, build our communication and collaborator skills, reuse and recycle items, and to help the earth! Donations can be dropped at the office, given to classroom teachers or to 5D classroom. We are looking forward to a new and exciting chapter with our ADSS families."
